Fourth Phase Electrics has enjoyed an ongoing maintenance role with Controlfab Pty. Ltd.. Consequently, the company brought their plans to us for the expansion of their business involving the build of new dedicated factories. We were asked to take over after the base build, and completely customise 3 factories to suit their needs.
Our pre-planning is always meticulous
Controlfab’s scope of electrical works included installing multiple sizable sub boards, the wiring of approximately 40 work stations/welding bays for their employees, and installing large CNC cutting machines and a large laser tube cutter (inclusive of a step-down transformer to suit). Further improvements included a substantial mezzanine office space and kitchenette, a store room, and multiple other machines (such as a 30kw compressor and various other machinery).
Fourth Phase Electrics always meets Australian Standards
The original stages of the factory fit-outs were soon completed to our usual high standards, with all cable tray, conduit work, and other associated works put in place. This foundation leg of works was crucial to supply all required loads, and infrastructure to support large 3-phase supplies, sub mains etc..
At Fourth Phase Electrics, we’re proud of our reputation for providing our expertise and assistance to install high-tech equipment for such ventures. In this instance, for the second portion of the fit-out, we partnered with Applied Machinery Pty. Ltd. to install the laser tube cutter, the CNC cutter, and the multiple brake presses.
After the welding bays, machinery, and other facets of the project were completed, the upstairs mezzanine office was also wired, including all lighting and power, a kitchenette, and air-conditioning. The icing on the cake included point-to-point Ubiquiti network connection and data, so that all offices across the company could communicate via the same network.
