With no power for over 5 days, and constant disruptions to their electrical supply thereafter, they engaged us to design, supply and integrate a fully automatic, back-up diesel generator.
We work around the onsite challenges with careful planning
The complexity of the building’s design, tight access restrictions, and having to complete the works with around 100 people onsite at any given time was a challenging scenario. Fortunately, Fourth Phase Electrics has the capability and required expertise to manage all of these intricacies through careful planning.
With help from East Coast Generators Pty. Ltd, we supplied a 44kVa Kohler 3 phase diesel generator, and an automatic transfer switch to suit. We arranged for a concrete slab to be poured, and the generator to be craned into position.
24/7 Service
Our dedicated team worked long nights and throughout the weekend, all the while ensuring that the installation of the generator was not disruptive to business operations, nor to the client, the parents or the children. For them, it was business as usual.
Problem Solved
The generator was integrated seamlessly into their existing supply, so that, now, as soon as there is a glitch in power, within 10 seconds the generator has them back online. This guarantees their facilities, staff and children remain safe, and that heating, cooling, cooking facilities and computer/security systems can continue to function as normal.
