Fourth Phase Electrics provided an extensive overhaul design and tailored professional CBUS advice to the Yarra Valley Lodge management team, for the distinctively elegant front foyer of the hotel and convention/restaurant complex. As a fully booked hospitality venue attached to the renowned Heritage Golf Club, expectations were high to ensure that there was no disruption to staff, guests, patrons, corporate entities, nor the surrounding Heritage Estate residents – all of whom anticipate that their Country Club environment remains functional at all times.
Retrofitting the enormous, existing pendant light and sky-high downlights
Our accomplishments in the front foyer were completed deftly on a 24-hour schedule. The works implemented by our team required working at heights suspension (over 8-metres high in a heavily trafficked area), and meticulous attention to protecting chic floor and wall surface areas. Minimal disruption to trade, noise avoidance, and definitive safety measures were imperative at all times.
Push Button C-Bus Magic
This stunning foyer is now illuminated by full C-Bus automation, featuring a customised design using dimmable LED strip lighting, with dedicated programming to create scenes for different lux levels to suit various moods (both day and night). The energy-efficiency of this grand space has been significantly upgraded, and the design goal of maintenance-free inclusion has been realised for the client.
